Roisin Killick

Head of Programmes, Networks and Evaluation

Prior to working at Challenge Partners, Roisin taught English in Spain, Mexico and Egypt, and worked in international schools in the UK. She holds a MSc in Globalisation and Development from UCL where she focused her research on the impact of the 2012 education reform policy on indigenous schools in Oaxaca, Mexico. She has just begun her PhD at the Institute of Education in UCL and is researching how the changing socio-political climate in the English education system has led to a growing number of organisations that work in or with schools but outside of the school accountability system. She is exploring how these organisations hold themselves accountable and evidence their impact to both the school leaders they work with and the funders that support their work.

Roisin currently manages the programmes team which delivers our school improvement and leadership development programmes. This includes the Quality Assurance Review, the Getting Ahead London programme for Senior Leaders aspiring to headship and Middle Leaders aspiring to Senior Leadership,  and the Growing the Top programme designed to support and challenge the most outstanding schools in the Network of Excellence. She is also responsible for Challenge Partners overarching evaluation strategy, ensuring consistency and depth in how we monitor and evaluate our programmes.
